The Office: Season 1

Finally saw the first season of the American version of The Office. I had seen the premiere episode when it first aired, but stopped watching. I had seen the entire British version only a couple weeks before the American version aired, so it was pretty fresh in my mind. The new version seemed pointless considering it seemed to be exactly like its predecessor. But considering its huge fan base and the fact that I am a sheep when it comes to following trends, I decided to give it a go and am glad I did. I watched all six episodes in one sitting and plan to download season two. I don’t remember laughing as hard as I did at the British version. (Maybe because I wasn’t distracted by the subtitles?) Thank god, I’ve never had a boss like Michael, but I found myself nodding several times, saying, “Yep. I’ve been there before.” At least it wasn’t as bad as my first viewing of Office Space, when I found out that the first fifteen minutes of the movie was my life.
